Welcome to Camp Canine!
Please Read / August 2018
Due to a recent canine influenza outbreak in Southeast Michigan, we added the "Canine Influenza Vaccine H3N8 & H3N2" (both strains are in one vaccine) as well as the DHLPP vaccine to our vaccine requirements. DHLPP is very common and most customers have this vaccine.
When your dogs receive the Canine Influenza Vaccine H3N8 & H3N2 for the very first time, it is two shots, two weeks apart then a 10 day period before your dog is fully protected. This means if you received the shot today, it is 24 days until they are fully protected. After the first series of shots, next year it is just one shot.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
Who is Camp Canine,
Camp Canine is a family owned company that loves and respects dogs of all breeds and every one of our staff is all dog lovers like you. Your dogs are your best friend and locking them up in a cage all day while at work or on vacation can be very hard on them and you. Your dog will play the day away in our 10,000 square foot facility. We offer dog daycare, freestyle boarding (only in a kennel to eat and sleep), grooming and training. While in daycare or boarding, your dog will enjoy spacious, supervised play areas with other dogs of their size or activity level. We have large rubberized flooring play areas, agility ramps, rest areas and even swimming pools for hot summer days. All our Camp Counselors are trained in dog behavior and first aid. Your pet is number one at Camp Canine and they are treated the way you want them to be treated, with lots of love and respect.
We require the Bordetella vaccine and
a negative fecal test from the VET every SIX months
